Dance Masters of America is the dance competition that TDA competed in this weekend. I know that TDA has competed in it for many, many years. I'm not sure how many. I do know that in order to compete at DMA , you must be a member, and to be a member, the teachers have to pass the SAT's of Dance. There are very few members in the Arizona chapter for this reason. It is like many other competitions, where they have classes in the morning, and competition afterward. TDA had an awesome weekend. Out of the the top 10 solos in the 12 and under division, four were from TDA and the others were from Tucson Dance Academy, which is owned by Wanda's oldest daughter, Tammy. Kolton came in 1st, Mckenna came in 3rd, Tatum came in 4 th and Kai came in 6 th . It was awesome! I was so proud of her. This was the first time that she competed her solo. They were held at the Coronado Springs Hotel in Disneyworld. Florida is a great place to visit, I could never live there. It is so humid and it rains all the time. It can be a beautiful day...and then all of a sudden here comes the rain. Disneyworld, however, is the most fun. It was Kassie's first trip to Disneyworld and she loved it.
