Ok, so I am obviously not immortal and I did have that 35th birthday last week. Although it happened, I can sit here and realize that it is ok. It is ok for so many reasons. 1. I love my life. 2. Buddy, Me, Kai Kai, and Nachito are all healthy. 3. My whole family is healthy. 4. Buddy and my kids are my whole world and I would'nt change a thing. I could keep counting, but I think you get it.
My birthday was good, I was able to stay home, thanks to Dr. Fiel for giving me my birthday off and with pay, woo hoo! I took kids to school and came home to take a nice LUSH bath. LUSH....don't even get me started on my most favorite bath products. I then got ready to have lunch with Karen, my very dear friend. Her birthday is two days before mine. And after that, dinner with another set of dear friends.
And then, after dinner........Twilight at midnight! Oh yes, I did. I waited and waited for this movie and finally at midnight I saw it. Now, this is someone who read all four books in five days. I know, I know, a lot of people did the same. Now, I am not a movie critic by no means. I have at this point, Monday November 24th 2008 seen the movie four times, yes four times. Am I crazy? Maybe, just maybe.
I have to admit that the first time I saw it, I was very dissapointed. Maybe because of the 200 teenagers that were in the theater laughing at all the wrong parts, and sighing and screaming at the sight of Edward. To say the least, it was very distracting. It also could have been that I was constantly comparing it to the book. I had to go back and seperate the movie from the book, because there is no way that a book could possibly be made to be a two hour movie without missing things. The second time I was thrilled. I absoulutely loved it. They did what they could with the small budget that they had. With that said, I am anxiously awaiting "New Moon". I believe that this movie will be much better. As for Twilight, I will definetly be seeing it again, and maybe again. Heck why not?
