35.......

Ok, so I am obviously not immortal and I did have that 35th birthday last week. Although it happened, I can sit here and realize that it is ok. It is ok for so many reasons. 1. I love my life. 2. Buddy, Me, Kai Kai, and Nachito are all healthy. 3. My whole family is healthy. 4. Buddy and my kids are my whole world and I would'nt change a thing. I could keep counting, but I think you get it.
My birthday was good, I was able to stay home, thanks to Dr. Fiel for giving me my birthday off and with pay, woo hoo! I took kids to school and came home to take a nice LUSH bath. LUSH....don't even get me started on my most favorite bath products. I then got ready to have lunch with Karen, my very dear friend. Her birthday is two days before mine. And after that, dinner with another set of dear friends.
And then, after dinner........Twilight at midnight! Oh yes, I did. I waited and waited for this movie and finally at midnight I saw it. Now, this is someone who read all four books in five days. I know, I know, a lot of people did the same. Now, I am not a movie critic by no means. I have at this point, Monday November 24th 2008 seen the movie four times, yes four times. Am I crazy? Maybe, just maybe.
I have to admit that the first time I saw it, I was very dissapointed. Maybe because of the 200 teenagers that were in the theater laughing at all the wrong parts, and sighing and screaming at the sight of Edward. To say the least, it was very distracting. It also could have been that I was constantly comparing it to the book. I had to go back and seperate the movie from the book, because there is no way that a book could possibly be made to be a two hour movie without missing things. The second time I was thrilled. I absoulutely loved it. They did what they could with the small budget that they had. With that said, I am anxiously awaiting "New Moon". I believe that this movie will be much better. As for Twilight, I will definetly be seeing it again, and maybe again. Heck why not?

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

Good things come to those who wait...

I was having one of those bad Mondays. One of those Mondays when everything seems to be going wrong. 1. Our phones at the office are not working. 2. Statements went out over the weekend and angry patients are calling to complain. 3. My coffee got cold and I had to throw it away, and now I have a caffeine headache. 4. My cell phone has been tied up all day because I'm having our calls forwarded to it. (good thing for rollover minutes). 5. My boss has just added two more things to my darker pink "TODO" notebook. And just as I was about to roll up in a ball and hide under my desk, I got this e-mail. Dear Kindle Customer, Today, we introduced Kindle 2, the next generation of our wireless reading device. Because you already ordered the original Kindle and are awaiting its arrival, we're pleased to inform you that we are upgrading your order so that you will receive the new Kindle 2. Flashback Friday

This Friday, I am participating in two links. My first is with Alicia over at More Than Words . There are only two weeks to go for TDA's Summer Recital. This year it will be held at Higley Performing Arts on June 20 at 7:00. Kassie will be in aproximately 14 dances so far. Might change though. Hopefully it will change to less. : ) Recital is in full swing right now. Every day, you see kids walking out with their costumes. It is so cute. I especially love seeing the little two and three year olds. They are always so excited. This is a picture of Kai in her 2nd Recital with TDA. It was her first year taking more than two classes. I think she was in five or six recital numbers. It was her first official ballet dance. She had never taken a full ballet class. She since has learned to love it. This picture was taken in 2005 making her only nine years old. How fast time goes..... June 2005
