Three years apart..

I often wonder how things in the Lopez household would be if Nachito and Kassie were closer in age. Or even further in age. Three years seems to be pretty normal. However, they don't seem to agree. You see, every minute of every day, these two fight. And when I say fight, I mean fight. Sure as you look at the pictures of the two, they seem so lovable towards each other. They are NOT.
I have to laugh at some of the things that come out of their mouths. And then there is the silent fighting. The looks, the pinches, the silent hitting until one goes to far and the scream follows. You see unlike them, I never had a sibling close to my age. Yes we fought, but never like this. I always ask friends that have siblings close in age or children close in age if this type of behavior is normal. And you know what they say.....YES! Hallelujah!! I thought I was the only one with fighting siblings.
People also tell me that in time, these two will be the best of friends. Well, time....hurry up please. In the mean time, I will continue to document these fights and then the adorable pictures that they take together. Especially the ones where they actually like each other when they think no one is looking. I will continue to hope that they do in fact become the best of friends. And I will as I have been for the past nine years, play referee.
On the other hand, Buddy seems to be oblivious to these fights. And so Kai Kai and Nachito, keep on with your WWF wrestling matches and your door slamming, screaming fights. I have nothing but time, to wait, enjoy, cherish, listen, watch, and LOVE.

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Flashback Friday

Joining in with Alicia again. Head on over to her blog to participate. You can get there by clicking here . As promised, I will countdown Kai's birthdays parties every Friday from now on until we reach her 13th Birthday. Come join in Disney fun as Kassandra Paulyna turns one! Saturday, September 6, 1997 From day one, Kai was always smiling. Her cake was made by my sister Ana. Her piñata was bigger than she was. Two pages from her scrapbook, which I haven't kept up with, hence the blog. Kai's first birthday was bitter sweet. I had been planning it for about four months. At the time I was a stay at home mommy and I had nothing better to do. It was bitter sweet, because my dad had passed away two weeks prior to her party. We really considered moving the date or cancelling the party all together, but my mom said that my dad would not want that. So we went ahead with the party. At the time, we lived in Douglas, and parties in Douglas tend to be pretty big. We rented a dan...
