Goodbyes

Week two of staying on that bandwagon. You know, the one about "getting in shape". With all things considered, I have done pretty good. Unfortunetly, as the weeks go by, a normal routine starts to develop again. It's always the same thing for me. Maybe it's the Scorpio in me, but I like routine. I have my favorite foods from restaurants, and I always order the same. I have my favorite drinks, and again I always order the same, every single time. I have tried to order different things, and I always end up dissapointed, so I just order what I know I like. Where was I going with this? Oh yes, goodbyes. This post is to hopefully, temporarily say goodbye to my favorites. For if I don't, I will have jumped off that bandwagon again. And I say temporarily, because a little indulgence every once in a while is ok. I, unfortunatley, at least right now....don't know the word "a little". I know that my goodbyes will affect my social calendar for a while too. Holly, sorry, no more Z Tejas Thursdays. No more Chambord Rita, no more corn bread and : ( no more five cheese macaroni. Our trips to LUSH might be a little boring, because I have to say goodbye to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. PF Changs - goodbye to my Key Lime Pie martini. Goodbye, coconut margarita at Gardunos. The list could go on and on. The hardest thing to say goodbye to is.........SPRINKLES!!!! It was my once every two weeks, maybe once a week treat. It all depended on what kind of day I was having. These are my favorite cupcakes by far. I have always loved cup cakes, but when I tasted Sprinkles, that was it. They have the best flavors. I have a few favs, but the coconut is on top of my list. So, goodbye Sprinkles.... *Hopefully this post will be like my office. Writing about it makes me more accountable for my actions. And BTW, my office, looking better everyday. And for those of you who are not on a bandwagon, enjoy some Sprinkles for me. : )

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Just how long has it been? A long, long time....

Not so much of a Blogaholic. I almost feel the need to change the name of my poor little blog. It has sat here deserted with no updates and no pictures. I think about it everyday, yet I can't seem to find the time to come back to it. My intention for my blog was to document so much of our days and lives. And yet, I have let months go by without one little entry. There is no way my mind can remember everything that has happened since my last post. So much missed. The majority of Kai's 8th grade year, and the majority of Nachito's 5th grade year. Not to mention how many holidays and important events I have missed. Trips and of course Birthday parties. Somehow I need to find the time to record these events, and even if I have to back date them, I will document them at some point. This week is a tough school week for the kids. AIMS testing for both of them. Today they both felt very good about how they did. Nothing much has changed in Kai's world. She still dances, still c...
