that is the question. Living in the age of technology, there are several networking websites. You have MySpace, and then there is Facebook. I did the MySpace thing. It was ok, but if you ask me, a little more for teenagers. Then I started with Facebook. I have to say it has been great. You have the chance to re-connect with old friends, and stay connected with new friends. You can see current pictures of them, and also pictures of their families. You can read about what they do on a daily basis.
In the past few months I have had the oppurtunity to not only re-connect with old friends online, but I have even met up with some for dinner. Last month, I had dinner with two friends from Douglas. Elda and Marina. It was nice to sit and chat, all while enjoying a great dinner. Unfortunaetly all our lives are busy, and there is no possible way to catch up in two hours. Tonight, we met for dinner again, and in talking we decided that it would be a good idea to plan a "Reunion". A reunion for any Douglas High Alumni. So many people that went to DHS live either in the valley, or Tucson. It would be nice to just meet up one night and have fun. We talked about going to Flickas, since it seems that most people from Douglas like to hang out there anyways. We did'nt get to talking about dates too much. Marina is getting married in March, and she has a lot of planning to do. We decided to wait untill after her wedding. Maybe April? Regardless of what day this reunion takes place, I am happy that I have found so many of my dear friends on Facebook, and so I say......network away!
*Yes, that is Sangria on the table. My only defense is that I never mentioned Sangria or Carrabba's on my "Goodbyes" post.
