# 4

I know that I said that I would TRY to post about products everyday. I did say TRY. This morning, I used product number 4 and I decided that I would write about it. I first starting using it about a year ago. I unfortunately have naturally curly/frizzy hair. I have to flat iron it everyday. I was worried about the damage that my hair was getting, so I asked my old hair dresser, Edward (sigh) only because of his name of course. He is the best! If I could only find him again. He with not a word to me and all of his clients flew the coup. : ( Edward told me "Don't wash your hair everyday. Wash it every other day. That way you don't have to flat iron it everyday."

"Yuck, yuck, yuck". I said "No, he said. Use a dry shampoo." Dry shampoo???? WOW! So, I did as Edward (sigh) said and I went to Sephora and purchased this Dry shampoo. And, it works, it works real well. It comes in both a powder and spray formula, I prefer the powder. On your non shampoo day, you get the bottle and as if you were dying your hair, you press onto your scalp and brush out and wallah, you have a fresh head of hair. It's that easy. There are a few brands, but I bought this one and I liked it so much, that I have not tried the others. If you would like to try this dry shampoo, go into your local Sephora, or http://www.sephora.com/. It is Dry Shampoo by Oscar Blandi. And, they have a travel size too! No more over heated hair for me.

A little FYI on the one that is a spray, it gets clogged all the time!

Mirella has used this product for a long time too and in the beginning had to return about 3 bottles....Now she uses the power one.

So stick with the powder! Much better and no returning!

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Just how long has it been? A long, long time....

Not so much of a Blogaholic. I almost feel the need to change the name of my poor little blog. It has sat here deserted with no updates and no pictures. I think about it everyday, yet I can't seem to find the time to come back to it. My intention for my blog was to document so much of our days and lives. And yet, I have let months go by without one little entry. There is no way my mind can remember everything that has happened since my last post. So much missed. The majority of Kai's 8th grade year, and the majority of Nachito's 5th grade year. Not to mention how many holidays and important events I have missed. Trips and of course Birthday parties. Somehow I need to find the time to record these events, and even if I have to back date them, I will document them at some point. This week is a tough school week for the kids. AIMS testing for both of them. Today they both felt very good about how they did. Nothing much has changed in Kai's world. She still dances, still c...
