Sunday morning coffee.....

Are you a coffee drinker? Are you looking for new coffee cups? Do you enjoy a good cup of coffee with your significant other? Well, I do....on Sundays at least. Ok, so maybe I don't cook, and maybe I am not at all interested in kitchen gadgets like Buddy.
I can tell you that I love, absolutely love the dishes and kitchen ware at Anthropologie. They have the cutest plates and bowls. They have these adorable mini colanders in all colors. They have porcelain measuring spoons and porcelain measuring cups that look like coffee mugs. How do I know, if I don't cook? Gifts of course. I recently gifted these items to a friend that was starting culinary school. And, while I was there, I picked up these matching coffee cups. One for me, and one for Buddy. Mine is the dainty one, with an "N" and Buddy's, is the masculine one with a bold "S". Great idea for a Valentines gift.
And if you are looking for a new coffee maker...Buddy bought this one around Thanksgiving last year. He really loves it, and I am quite fond of it too. It's by Keurig and it brews one cup at a time. You can buy the K-cups at most stores now, even Target carries them. They have so many different flavors. You can also buy hot chocolate or tea cups. So if your Valentine likes coffee, how about the Keurig coffee maker and the two Anthropologie cups. Great gift for the guy that has everything. And since Buddy has both, I'll have to keep looking.

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Just how long has it been? A long, long time....

Not so much of a Blogaholic. I almost feel the need to change the name of my poor little blog. It has sat here deserted with no updates and no pictures. I think about it everyday, yet I can't seem to find the time to come back to it. My intention for my blog was to document so much of our days and lives. And yet, I have let months go by without one little entry. There is no way my mind can remember everything that has happened since my last post. So much missed. The majority of Kai's 8th grade year, and the majority of Nachito's 5th grade year. Not to mention how many holidays and important events I have missed. Trips and of course Birthday parties. Somehow I need to find the time to record these events, and even if I have to back date them, I will document them at some point. This week is a tough school week for the kids. AIMS testing for both of them. Today they both felt very good about how they did. Nothing much has changed in Kai's world. She still dances, still c...
