It's Just Another Manic Monday....

At least I did'nt pick "Walk Like an Egyptian"

I wish it were Sunday... Am I totally aging myself with this song? Sundays are my "Fun Days" and my "I don't have to run days." And speaking of running, there was no running out the door this morning. YES! Well, I should be honest though. I DID get some of the clothes ready last night. I DID NOT iron last night. I DID change the alarm clock. I DID NOT make pancakes. I DID have my Starbucks. I DID NOT fear the "tardy lady". Yay, right? Well actually it was because of circumstances out of my control. Just as I was about to iron this morning, an announcement was made on our local news. Attention: There will be no school for the students at Waggoner Elementary due to a water leak that caved in the roof of the school building. Please listen to the afternoon news for more information on whether the students can return on Tuesday. Lucky "tardy lady", she got an extra day off! Good for her, she deserves it! And Nachito had to come to work with me today. And poor Kai, she had to go to school. Boo hoo, all the way to school this morning. "It's not fair. Why does he get the day off?" Kai and her pitty parties.

Oh, and I might as well throw this confession in. I love Karaoke! What do I sing when I have some liquid courage in me? Manic Monday of course. Why? Don't know, because I start out nice and confident, and then I realize that I have to sing "All of the nights, why did my lover have to pick last night to get down etc. etc." And I slowly want to die. And then, when I have to sing, "C' mon Honey let's go make some noise". I just walk off. It happens every time. So now, I would just rather watch people sing Karaoke and let them be the ones to make a fool of themselves.

Oh, I just remembered. Buddy and his friend Dave had some liquid courage in them at the Christmas party and they happily sang "Friends In Low Places". And I have the audio to it. How much is it worth Buddy? It just takes seconds to upload. Sounds like a little bit of blackmail huh? It won't take much, I promise. Just a little something. And, if it happens to make it's way onto my blog, you know Ana will give you a hard time about it. So pay up!!

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Blog Remodel

I am also looking forward to my Blog Remodel. Danielle over at The Design Girl is re-doing my blog. I can't wait to see it. I looked at a lot of Blog designers, and her site was definetly my favorite. If you are interested in customizing your blog, I highly suggest her. I have been on her waiting list for a few weeks now, and I have watched as my name moves closer to the top. And just this weekend, I got to pick my new kit. And, I also changed the name of my Blog. I have been really trying to come up with something that is more "Me". And I am really happy with my choice. Hopefully it will be up and running soon. Keep checking back to see my new blog.
