Product #9

Ok, Ok, it's been forever since I post a favorite product. Since April to be exact. My last product post can be found here. Two weeks ago, I went to my monthly shopping trip to the MAC store at Scottsdale Fashion Square. I usually just look at color, and more color. This time however, this product was highlighted on a new color story. I asked about it, and was told that it is a spray on moisturizer. I sprayed it in the air, and it had a rose scent to it. I quickly stated that a rose scented product would not fly with me. (Not that I have anything against roses, I love the actual flower, especially when they arrive in at least a dozen in a nice vase, that sits on my desk for the world to see, in a deep peach/coral color to be exact. Wink, wink.) I just don't like the smell of roses on my skin or on my face. I was quickly advised that this product also comes without the rose smell. Now this, I liked. I tried it, I loved it, I bought it!! And so should you. You spray it on your face prior to your makeup. It's refreshing, and it feels so good. You can use it throughout the day. Now I need to go back and get one to keep in my office. Especially for those hot days, when I have to leave the office for lunch or the bank. I can come back and spray it my face and it will feel so nice. This product, can be purchased at any MAC counter, or online here.

Here are the details of the product from the MAC store.

Antidote for dryness! Butter-rich, lightweight, no-grease formula keeps skin super-hydrated, plump and soft. Mega-moisturizing, preps skin for makeup, then helps it stay. Fast-absorbing. Antioxidants protect and nourish. Time-release delivery system means moisture and emollients are released onto the skin continually/all day. Enhanced with mineral-enriched spring water, it’s an instant spritz of moisture.

I know, now you want one. Go for it, and let me know how you like it.

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Flashback Friday

Joining in with Alicia again. Head on over to her blog to participate. You can get there by clicking here . As promised, I will countdown Kai's birthdays parties every Friday from now on until we reach her 13th Birthday. Come join in Disney fun as Kassandra Paulyna turns one! Saturday, September 6, 1997 From day one, Kai was always smiling. Her cake was made by my sister Ana. Her piñata was bigger than she was. Two pages from her scrapbook, which I haven't kept up with, hence the blog. Kai's first birthday was bitter sweet. I had been planning it for about four months. At the time I was a stay at home mommy and I had nothing better to do. It was bitter sweet, because my dad had passed away two weeks prior to her party. We really considered moving the date or cancelling the party all together, but my mom said that my dad would not want that. So we went ahead with the party. At the time, we lived in Douglas, and parties in Douglas tend to be pretty big. We rented a dan...
