Here are my six things that make me happy.

1. Coffee...my Starbucks coffee to be exact. It gets my day started. I like to enjoy it before I start work. And on weekends, I like to sit outside at Starbucks and just drink my coffee while playing with my phone. That is, when I have time.

2. iPhone.....next month, I will have had my iPhone for two years. I love it!! I bought the original, and then upgraded to the 3G. I use this phone to its full potential. I helps me with directions, it lets me Twitter and Facebook, it lets me watch movies and music videos. I can check my e-mail all day long. I can take pictures, then do silly things with the pictures. I can play games and use some cool applications. Needless to say, I would go crazy without this phone.

3. Internet.....really, how did we do it without the Internet? I use it all day long, as I am sure most people do. I'm starting to think that Internet does not fall into Unimportant. Other wise, how else would you be reading this post, or participating. I'll leave it, because a long, long time ago, the Internet did not exist, and people figured it out. I, however; could not live without it.

4. Cupcakes...cupcakes make me real happy. I don't know why, but they just do. Maybe it's because they are less messy than an actual cake. Maybe because you can buy more than one flavor. I think they are so cute and pretty. I just love them. And speaking of cupcakes...you know how I love Sprinkles cupcakes. Well, I recently tasted Boston Market cupcakes. I do not play favorites, so I thought I would try them. Let me just say, they are delicious!!

5. Make-up....also makes me very happy. Again, not so Unimportant to the people who have to see me without it. Can anyone really have to much makeup? Not in my opinion. I love to play with colors and try new looks. I am not faithful to any particular brand. I will buy anything that I like. Except for skincare, I usually am faithful to that. But then again, it's not makeup.

6. Handbags....make me really, really happy. I buy a new handbag every three to four months. Not a hugely expensive bag, but a good quality bag. I don't buy handbags by brand either, just by what I like. I look around the department, and the first BLACK bag that gets my attention is what I buy. If it happens to be a common brand then fine, if it is a brand that I have never heard of, fine too. In the past year, I have had a MAXX New York, Eliott Lucca, Nordstrom Boutique, and B. Makowsky. Not popular brands at all, but I liked them. I guess I have to confess that I won't buy Coach or Dooney & Bourke for crazy reasons, but those are the only two that I won't buy. I personally just like to change out my purses every so often. Which is why I buy nice affordable bags. I could never afford to change out a Chanel bag every three months, so I buy what I can afford. And, besides that, buying a new handbag every few months makes me HAPPY.

So, those are my six Unimportant things! And really, very Unimportant, because if I had to, I could live without them. What matters most to me is the Important things, like my family and friends, and the health of my family and friends. Thanks to Mel for tagging me, it was a fun tag. I now have to tag six people, so I tag the following:

I swear, you sound like a girl after my own heart. I LOVE my morning starbucks (though where I live the closest one is 200 miles away and then they only have ONE!) so I have been on a 18 month long hiatus from Starbucks (ending next week!) I love my iphone, I love cupcakes, handbags and makeup! LOL at #5! Thanks for playing along! Fun!

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Just how long has it been? A long, long time....

Not so much of a Blogaholic. I almost feel the need to change the name of my poor little blog. It has sat here deserted with no updates and no pictures. I think about it everyday, yet I can't seem to find the time to come back to it. My intention for my blog was to document so much of our days and lives. And yet, I have let months go by without one little entry. There is no way my mind can remember everything that has happened since my last post. So much missed. The majority of Kai's 8th grade year, and the majority of Nachito's 5th grade year. Not to mention how many holidays and important events I have missed. Trips and of course Birthday parties. Somehow I need to find the time to record these events, and even if I have to back date them, I will document them at some point. This week is a tough school week for the kids. AIMS testing for both of them. Today they both felt very good about how they did. Nothing much has changed in Kai's world. She still dances, still c...
