FiVe as in 5th as in.....

of course. Now, now, let me just clarify myself before I write this post, ok Buddy? There are very few stores on 5th Avenue that I can actually afford to shop at. Some of which include Gap, FAO Schwartz, The Disney Store, Sephora, Tiffany & Co. (sterling silver), Juicy Couture, and I can't forget the MAC Store inside of Henri Bendel.
I do however, love to window shop on 5th Avenue. The window displays are pretty amazing. Fifth avenue is considered one of the most expensive streets in the world. Which, again is why I can only window shop. Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman have the window displays that I like. I've heard that at Christmas they are really spectacular. As you walk towards Central Park, you see the likes of Gucci, Versace, Prada, Harry Winston to name a few. You also pass Trump Tower where you can go in and see the famous waterfall inside, or walk around the turn style, or simply walk out the regular doors like to poor Apprentice rejects do. vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Flashback Friday

Joining in with Alicia again. Head on over to her blog to participate. You can get there by clicking here . As promised, I will countdown Kai's birthdays parties every Friday from now on until we reach her 13th Birthday. Come join in Disney fun as Kassandra Paulyna turns one! Saturday, September 6, 1997 From day one, Kai was always smiling. Her cake was made by my sister Ana. Her piñata was bigger than she was. Two pages from her scrapbook, which I haven't kept up with, hence the blog. Kai's first birthday was bitter sweet. I had been planning it for about four months. At the time I was a stay at home mommy and I had nothing better to do. It was bitter sweet, because my dad had passed away two weeks prior to her party. We really considered moving the date or cancelling the party all together, but my mom said that my dad would not want that. So we went ahead with the party. At the time, we lived in Douglas, and parties in Douglas tend to be pretty big. We rented a dan...
