Home sweet home..

Kai and I got home late last night from NYC. Although we were both very sad to leave that unbelievable city, we were glad to be home and see Buddy and Nachito. I've decided to post our adventures by day. Again, this is definitely for our memories and to read back, so I promise not to be offended if people choose to not read. I certainly do not want to forget our trip and this is why I'm doing this.

We arrived in the evening, and it was still 110 degrees. The Phoenix weather was definitely something that I did not miss. We had unbelievable weather in NY all week. I think we only had one day of humidity and it was not horrible. It went from the higher 60's to lower 80's everyday. We had one day of rain, and that was Friday night before we came home. Other than that, it was perfect.

I took a lot of pictures, and I will try to post in the best order that I can. I am also spending this Sunday doing laundry of course and catching up on my blog reading.

And as I write about this trip, know that it's all in anticipation for the next trip to the city. Just in case you hadn't realized, I LOVE NY!!!!!

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Blog Remodel

I am also looking forward to my Blog Remodel. Danielle over at The Design Girl is re-doing my blog. I can't wait to see it. I looked at a lot of Blog designers, and her site was definetly my favorite. If you are interested in customizing your blog, I highly suggest her. I have been on her waiting list for a few weeks now, and I have watched as my name moves closer to the top. And just this weekend, I got to pick my new kit. And, I also changed the name of my Blog. I have been really trying to come up with something that is more "Me". And I am really happy with my choice. Hopefully it will be up and running soon. Keep checking back to see my new blog.
