Product 10 nay & 11 yay!!

It has been foreevveeerrr since I post about products. Since May of last year to be exact. Product #10 is a combo, shampoo and conditioner. I had been reading about these two products for months. They were developed by some MIT students and an MIT professor who decided to take care of frizz. I am queen of frizz. I didn't used to be, but somehow, from one day to the next, FRIZZ. I have tried so many products to try and put an end to the FRIZZ. Nothing really worked. Then, I came across an article that talked about these products. I thought my problem would be over. I found these on Sephora website, but at the time, they only had the 8 oz bottles. Each bottle was $24...........OUCH!! So, I decided to wait. (Aren't you proud of me Buddy?) Then last month I was at Sephora at the mall. They had travel size bottles 2 oz for $10 each. Not as horrific. So, I bought both the shampoo and conditioner. I used it for a whole week. Nothing, Nada, Zip.....it doesn't work. At least for me. I didn't notice a thing. Maybe my hair is to thick, but for that price, so not worth it. So my opinion is....MIT students should leave the hair products to someone else and they can continue to become astronauts, chemists and amazing architects. My yay product is a new eye shadow primer from Urban Decay. It's called Eye Shadow Primer Potion - Eden. I have used their original primer potion for a few years now (I know, who hasn't?) This new one, I LOVE! I love that its a "tawny" color. Lately I have been pretty boring with my make-up. A lot of nudes and browns. I may spice it up by adding a red lip, but other than that..........BORING. I can't help it. I work at a Dr.s office, and I really can't have fun with make-up like I used to. Soooo, this primer is perfect for me and my boring colors. It blends with them real well, and I even use it as a high lighter. I say YAY to this product. And it's sister potions too! If you would like to take a look at this product, click on here. Or, you can stop by your local Sephora for both products.

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Flashback Friday

Joining in with Alicia again. Head on over to her blog to participate. You can get there by clicking here . As promised, I will countdown Kai's birthdays parties every Friday from now on until we reach her 13th Birthday. Come join in Disney fun as Kassandra Paulyna turns one! Saturday, September 6, 1997 From day one, Kai was always smiling. Her cake was made by my sister Ana. Her piñata was bigger than she was. Two pages from her scrapbook, which I haven't kept up with, hence the blog. Kai's first birthday was bitter sweet. I had been planning it for about four months. At the time I was a stay at home mommy and I had nothing better to do. It was bitter sweet, because my dad had passed away two weeks prior to her party. We really considered moving the date or cancelling the party all together, but my mom said that my dad would not want that. So we went ahead with the party. At the time, we lived in Douglas, and parties in Douglas tend to be pretty big. We rented a dan...
