Remember Me?

That title holds a double meaning. First one is because I have not had time to post to my blog as often as I would like.

So many things have happened in the past few weeks that I decided to take a mental break from my blog. I currently have two blog posts that are sitting there waiting to either be deleted or to be published. Both written with frustration and anger. Two very different situations.

I have always used my blog as a journal for me. A way that I can capture our day to day moments. Sometimes important, sometimes silly and frankly, sometimes a little crazy. For instance: My crazy obsession with Twilight. Have you noticed how toned down that has been? Yes, all of a sudden it hit me. I'm a 36 year old wife and mother and what the heck was I thinking? Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE the franchise and all of the books. I'm just going to leave the drooling and craziness to my 13 year old. I will still go watch Eclipse and Breaking Dawn (most likely at midnight), I may even host a party or two. It will just be a little more toned down.

I have gone back to read my blog, and it makes me remember things that I have forgotten. Sure, there are some things that were probably pointless, but at the time, they were important to ME. I need to start blogging the way I used to again. Links, products, shopping, because that's me.

And, with that being said. Thursday evening, we will be going to go see this movie (at midnight of course).

Again, leaving the obsession to my 13 year old, but who else would take her at midnight to see a movie : ) And, it also is pretty cool, because this is the movie that we saw Robert Pattinson filming while we were in NYC.

While on the subject of movies. I was super excited for Sandra Bulluck and her Oscar win. And, in my opinion, she was the best looking actor that evening. I had a few other favorites, but total package, hair, make-up and dress, definitely Sandra. And not to mention that it was for one of my favorite movies, The Blind Side. Which is coming out on DVD on March 23 and I can't wait to watch it again.

Absolutely Perfect!!
I loved, loved her lipstick. I have to find out what color that was.

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Just how long has it been? A long, long time....

Not so much of a Blogaholic. I almost feel the need to change the name of my poor little blog. It has sat here deserted with no updates and no pictures. I think about it everyday, yet I can't seem to find the time to come back to it. My intention for my blog was to document so much of our days and lives. And yet, I have let months go by without one little entry. There is no way my mind can remember everything that has happened since my last post. So much missed. The majority of Kai's 8th grade year, and the majority of Nachito's 5th grade year. Not to mention how many holidays and important events I have missed. Trips and of course Birthday parties. Somehow I need to find the time to record these events, and even if I have to back date them, I will document them at some point. This week is a tough school week for the kids. AIMS testing for both of them. Today they both felt very good about how they did. Nothing much has changed in Kai's world. She still dances, still c...
