Easter Weekend 2010

I am happy to report that Easter weekend was probably the most relaxing weekend that we have had in a long, long time.

We had no major plans. Buddy took Friday off and stayed home with the kids. They just hung out at home, and had a fun day together. Kai and I joined my friend Patti and her boys for a movie in the evening. Clash of the Titans....I loved it! Although I did have a very bad headache while I watched it. I am a fan of the original, but I really think that they did a good job in remaking it.

Saturday was spent at home, ALL day! I loved it! Kai, not so much. She had cabin fever and could not believe that we were not going anywhere. She was dressed with no where to go. I had no plans on going anywhere, and I didn't. I did play with a certain little gadget that the Easter Bunny brought me and I didn't even have to wait for Mothers Day. ; ) Thank you Buddy (Easter Bunny).

This morning, the kids woke early and colored eggs. We got ready and headed out to Uncle Fernie and Aunt Wendy's house. It was a lot of fun!

Sadly the weekend was over way to soon. I cherished every minute of it, because I don't think I will have another weekend like this in a long time.

Happy Easter 2010

vous êtes conviés

Here are pictures of the invitations for Kassie's 13th Birthday party. I had so much fun making them. Hum...maybe because I used my three favorite colors, maybe because I like to make invitations, or maybe it's just because I LOVE to plan parties. Either way, here is a sneak peak. Sorry the pictures are so bad, my camera is dead and I used my phone.

My life through my iPhone 2

Part II of "My life through my iPhone.                    Saturday was the Marcos De Niza Homecoming!  Kassie and Aaron had a blast!  I was able to finish Kassie's ballroom shoes on Sunday. It was spirit week for Corona del Sol and on Monday it was TV character day.  She dressed as Blaire Waldorf from Gossip Girl.  Corona had a bon fire on Thursday, and the Pommies performed a hip hop routine.  Here is a picture I stole from Instagram. On Saturday evening, the kids decided to carve pumpkins.  Here is Nachito and Chanel getting ready to carve. Kassie and her friend Amanda did some carving too!  These may not be great posts, but it's a start.

Just how long has it been? A long, long time....

Not so much of a Blogaholic. I almost feel the need to change the name of my poor little blog. It has sat here deserted with no updates and no pictures. I think about it everyday, yet I can't seem to find the time to come back to it. My intention for my blog was to document so much of our days and lives. And yet, I have let months go by without one little entry. There is no way my mind can remember everything that has happened since my last post. So much missed. The majority of Kai's 8th grade year, and the majority of Nachito's 5th grade year. Not to mention how many holidays and important events I have missed. Trips and of course Birthday parties. Somehow I need to find the time to record these events, and even if I have to back date them, I will document them at some point. This week is a tough school week for the kids. AIMS testing for both of them. Today they both felt very good about how they did. Nothing much has changed in Kai's world. She still dances, still c...
