Flashback Friday

Kassie found this picture while going through my box of old pictures a few months ago. I think it is hillarious, and I also love it. According to the date, this picture was taken about a month before my 10th birthday. I obviously was not into clothes yet. I really need to talk to my mom about the high rise waist on my pants. I'm not going to apologize about the Menudo shirt, because I worshipped the ground that they walked on, and besides it was the first concert I ever attended and I thought I was cool. Because at that time, getting tickets to a Menudo concert was like trying to get tickets for Hannah Montana. This picture was from a "Run & Fun Day" for Girls Scouts. Yes, we were Girl Scouts and I actually went on to be a cadet, and then quit because of peer pressure. Cristina and I placed 1st place in the life safer relay. At the time, it was no surprise, because we were the biggest brats that ever lived. We ruled our own world, and liked it. In fifth grade, Footloo...

Friends...

Janna's Birthday at Gardunos (we can't stay away from those coconut margaritas.) Mine and Karen's birthday at Gardunos. Notice: We did'nt have to wear the sombrero : ) Trish's Birthday at Gardunos and she did have to wear the sombrero. : ) and great times. Sometimes, our worlds are all so busy and we don't have enough time in the day to call and say Hi. But it is always nice to know that if you need something, you can call on a friend and they will be there. I am grateful for the great friendships that I have. I am grateful, that my friends know, that even though we don't talk every single day, that I am there if they ever need anything. I tend to surround myself with friends that will be my friends for the long hawl. Friends that can read a post on my blog, and know that I need a call. Friends that can laugh and cry with you. Last year we started celebrating our birthdays and I have not posted any of the pictures. I found a few of them, but I still need ...

Color Splash

I just have to say how much I love the Color Splash application that I downloaded on my Iphone . It is so cool. It lets you turn your pictures into black and white, and then add in the original colors wherever you want. I can play with it for hours. I guess I could find better things to do with my time, but this is so much fun. It's like if you are watercoloring. Check out the pictures that I have Color Splashed. I love the one of Nachito with the cotton candy. Even Edward got his shirt colored. For you Iphone owners, I highly recommend this application.

Product # 7 & # 8

I have tried numerous eye make up removers and not one, compares to this one. One swipe and your eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara are gone. I love, love this product. It is called Bi-facil by Lancome. All you do is shake it. I use this product with the Shiseido Facial Cotton. They are so soft, once you use these Facial Cottons, you will never use regular cotton pads or balls again. This I promise. Each product, can be purchased at their respective counters at most department stores, or for one stop shopping, Sephora carries both. Try them, I promise you will love them.

This is the card I sent Buddy when I found out I was pregnant, that with a dozen pink and blue balloons. Buddy and Kai Me and Kai Picture of Wishes for Baby from Kai's baby book. Kai and Buddy Christmas pictures 1997. Gosh I used to love Gymboree for the kids. Too bad they have outgrown it. : ( Kai and Buddy attending her first birthday party. Kai and Buddy on April 11, 1997 her 7th month. We used to have a cake made to celebrate every month leading up to her first birthday. (She was so sick that day.) January 11, 1997 her fourth month. Talk about a Daddy's Girl. From the moment Kai was born, she was a "Daddy's Girl". I can't compete. And, I actually don't mind. I think that it is great that Kai and Buddy have such a good relationship. She tends to tell him more than she tells me. And he tends to induldge her every whim. Kai is our miracle. I had had a perfect pregnancy. Kai was due on September 16th. On September 10th, My water broke and things go...

Another confession....

I love Dancing With The Stars! I especially love this season, because three former So You Think You Can Dance contestants are now dancing as professionals. Lacey, Chelsea and Dimitry! Unfortunately Dimitry ended up with a bad partner. He was originally paired with Jewel, but she was injured and was replaced by Holly from Girls Next Door. I have a feeling that he will be voted off tonight. It's too bad, because he is amazing. Lacey may be going home soon too, her partner is not any good either. She was paired with Steve-O from the Jack*** movies. Chelsea might last a little longer, because her partner is really starting to improve. She is dancing with Ty Murray the bull rider, who is married to Jewel. Chelsea was one of my favorite dancers on SYTYCD. She danced my favorite dance of any season. It was to Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis. Check it out here . You will love it. My second favorite dance from SYTYCD was performed by Lacey and Danny. They danced to Hip Hip, Chin Chin. It was c...
